The John Barleycorn is one of the most attractive pubs for many a mile. Situated in the Countryside but only 2 miles from the M11.

The smaller of the two bars is very attractive with a low ceiling and exposed oak beams. It's cosy and very popular at lunchtimes.

From the bar you can enjoy a good selection of popular brand name beers and lagers plus a couple of Real Ales in the form of Greene King IPA and Old Speckled Hen.

The menus are supported by a first class wine list. Tuesday to Saturday lunchtime apart from our main menus we serve a variety of bar snacks throughout the day.

The pub also has a lovely garden with an array of picnic style benches with large parasols scattered across the patio and lawns. It really is a most attractive setting and the whole place is certainly worth the visit and one that should be made in the near future.
